Two open datasets make some of our fields. Their licences ask for attribution, and the same duty passes to you when you serve those fields.
GeoNames
The towns, regions, coordinates (lat, lng in location_json) and time zones (timezones) come from the GeoNames geographical database, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. Attribution text: "This product includes data from GeoNames (geonames.org), licensed under CC BY 4.0."
O*NET
The occupation codes and titles in ai_onet_code and ai_onet_title use the O*NET 29 database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA), used under the CC BY 4.0 licence. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA. Job Monkey has modified all or some of this information; USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed or tested these modifications.
Other codes
SOC 2018 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics), NOC 2021 (Statistics Canada), ISCO-08 (International Labour Organization) and ESCO (European Commission) are public classifications used under their own open terms.
Software
Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, PgBouncer and zstd, all open source, run the service. Cloudflare hosts these pages and carries the traffic; Stripe handles payments.
