Plans

One thing is charged: a full job returned by the full feed. Everything else is free. USD a month, tax on top where it applies, cancel any time.

A plan's jobs are a month's allowance. Past them, overage runs at the plan's rate up to a spend cap you set (default: the plan's price again). At the cap the full feed answers 429 until the month turns or you raise the cap; a call that would pass it is cut to what is left, so you never pay past the cap. Pay as you go starts with a $100 cap.

The first load is priced like any other job. The United States is about 1.6 million jobs: a Volume 2M month covers it; on a smaller plan, take Volume 2M for the first month and change down after.

Which plan

Pick your countries and systems, or move the slider if you know your number. The sizes are last night's counts; GET /v1/jobs/count gives the exact figure.

Pay as you go for the same month: $0. The first load is charged once; with it the first month runs $0 of overage at the plan's rate (or take a bigger plan for that month).

Ten questions

What exactly is charged?

A full job returned by the full feed: GET /v1/jobs, POST /v1/jobs, and a snapshot file, every time it is returned. X-Units-Charged on each answer is the count. Nothing else is charged.

Are events, companies and counts really free?

Yes. On a paid key they have no daily cap and no request quota; the one brake is 10 calls a second per key. On the free plan they have 10 calls a day.

What does the free plan give me?

250 full jobs and 25 full-feed calls a month, 10 calls a day on the free routes, one live key, no card, no end date.

What happens when I pass my plan's jobs?

Overage at the plan's rate per 1,000, up to the spend cap you set (default: the plan's price again). At the cap the full feed answers 429 plan_exhausted until the month turns or you raise the cap. A call that would pass the cap is cut to what is left and charged for that.

Can I cancel, upgrade or downgrade?

Any time, on your billing page. Cancel ends the plan at the end of the period and the account returns to the free taste. An upgrade or downgrade applies at once with a prorated invoice line.

How is the first load priced?

Like any other job. A whole country through GET /v1/jobs or a snapshot file is the same price per job. The United States is about 1.6 million jobs: a Volume month covers it.

Do I pay again when I re-read a job?

Yes, each full job returned is charged. The design avoids re-reads: events carry the new values of changed fields, so you fetch a full record once per new or reopened, and send Idempotency-Key so a retry is free.

Is there a limit on calls a second?

10 calls a second per key, on every route, every plan. Over it: 429 rate_limited with Retry-After: 1. The RateLimit header on every answer shows where you are.

Which currencies, which taxes, which cards?

USD only. Tax is added where it applies, by Stripe. Every card Stripe takes, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. Stripe sends the receipts and invoices.

What if my payment fails?

Stripe retries and mails you. Your key keeps working for 7 days with X-Account: past_due on every answer; after 7 days the account goes off until the invoice is paid.
