Job Monkey

Terms

Plain words, in effect from 2026-11-07. Job Monkey is a product of CoBlack. Write to [email protected] with any question.

What is sold

Access to clean job data gathered from employers' own applicant tracking systems, with the fields we add (the fields that begin with ai_), through the API at api.jobmonkey.ai, for use inside your own product or research. You may store what you fetch, show it to your users, match on it, and build on it.

What is not allowed

Reselling or redistributing the raw data as a data product of its own; running a competing job-data aggregation or feed service on it; sharing a key outside your company; calling the API in ways that work around the plan rules or the rate limit. One login per company. We may revoke a key that breaks these terms, and we will say why.

The charge rule

One thing is charged: a full job returned by the full feed (GET /v1/jobs, POST /v1/jobs, and a snapshot file), every time it is returned, counted by X-Units-Charged on each answer. Events, updates, companies, counts and search cost nothing. A free account has 250 full jobs and 25 full-feed calls a month and 10 calls a day on the free routes, with no end date.

Plans, overage and the spend cap

A plan is a monthly subscription of jobs at the prices on Plans, in USD, tax on top where it applies. Jobs past the plan's allowance are overage at the plan's rate per 1,000, up to the spend cap you set on your billing page (the default is the plan's price). At the cap the full feed stops answering jobs until the month turns or you raise the cap. Pay as you go has no plan fee and a default cap of $100 a month. Every price change is announced on the changelog at least 30 days ahead and never applies to a running period.

Cancellation and changes

You may cancel, upgrade or downgrade at any time on your billing page. A cancellation ends the plan at the end of the paid period; the account returns to the free taste. An upgrade or downgrade applies at once with a prorated line on the next invoice. No refunds for a part of a period, except where the law says otherwise.

Past due

If a payment fails, Stripe retries the card and mails you. The key keeps working for 7 days; after 7 days the account is switched off until the invoice is paid. Unpaid overage stays owed.

Payments

Stripe, Inc. processes every payment and holds your card; we never see the card number. Stripe's receipts and invoices are the record of what you paid.

No uptime promise

We run the service with care and publish a status page, but we promise no uptime, response time or availability unless agreed in writing. The service may change; nothing is removed inside /v1 without a dated notice on the changelog.

No warranty on the data

The data comes from employers' own systems and is served as we find it. The fields we add (ai_, and derived says which were not stated) are a model's or a rule's judgment and carry no warranty of accuracy. Nothing here is advice. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

Licences

Place names and coordinates come from GeoNames and occupation codes from O*NET, both under CC BY 4.0; the attributions are on Credits and your use of those fields carries the same attribution duty.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account and a dated entry here. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
