Job Monkey

Prices

One thing is charged: a full job returned by the full feed (GET /v1/jobs, POST /v1/jobs, and a snapshot file), every time it is returned. Events, updates, companies, counts and search cost nothing, and a paid key has no request quota on them. Prices in USD a month, tax on top where it applies, cancel any time.

The free taste

Every new account has 250 full jobs and 25 full-feed calls a month, and 10 calls a day (UTC) on the free routes, with no end date and no card. Over it you get 429 plan_exhausted with Retry-After to the next day or month. A free account holds one live key.

Overage and the spend cap

A plan's jobs are a month's allowance. Past them, overage runs at the plan's rate per 1,000 jobs, up to a spend cap you set on the billing page (the default is the plan's price again; Pro 100k at $99 may spend another $99 on overage). At the cap the full feed answers 429 plan_exhausted until the month turns or you raise the cap. A call that would pass the cap is cut to what is left and charged for that, so you never pay past the cap and never lose a page you paid for. X-Plan-Jobs-Remaining on every full-feed answer tells you where you stand; the account page and a mail at 80% do too.

Pay as you go has a default cap of $100 a month; change it on the billing page.

The first load

The first load is priced like any other job. A whole-country file is big: the United States is about 1.6 million jobs, which a Volume 2M plan covers inside its month. A buyer on a smaller plan is cheaper taking Volume 2M for the first month and changing down after.

Upgrade, downgrade, cancel

All three live on your billing page. An upgrade or a downgrade changes the plan at once with a prorated invoice line. Cancel stops the plan at the end of the period; your account goes back to the free taste and your key keeps working inside it. Invoices and your card are in the Stripe portal, from the same page.

Past due

If an invoice fails, Stripe retries the card and mails you. Your key keeps working for 7 days with X-Account: past_due on every answer; after 7 days the account goes off and every call answers 401 account_off until the invoice is paid.
